District Planning & Monitoring Unit (DPMU), Kandhamal has invited applications from local youths for the engagement of Enumerators to conduct the 7th Minor Irrigation Census and 2nd Census of Waterbodies. The recruitment is temporary and field-based, offering an excellent opportunity for 10+2 qualified candidates to work on a government survey initiative.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Qualification:
• Must have passed 10+2 (CHSE/CBSE/ICSE) or Diploma in Engineering.
• Language Skills: Should be able to read, write, and speak Odia and English.
• Technical Skills: Basic computer knowledge is essential.
• Mobile Device Requirements:
• Android 10.0 or above
• Minimum RAM: 6GB
• Storage: 128GB
• Battery: 5000 mAh or more
• Preference: Given to candidates with experience in digital data collection for government/NGO projects.

Remuneration:

Field Allowance (Irrigation)	₹900
Field Allowance (Waterbodies)	₹720
Patwari Allowance	₹300
Smartphone Usage Allowance	₹750 (Waterbodies only)
Training Allowance	₹165 per day

No TA/DA or regular employment benefits.

Selection Procedure:

• Based on certificate evaluation
• Weightage:
• Matriculation: 40%
• 10+2: 60%
• In case of tie, preference is given to candidates with:
• Higher education
• Relevant experience

Duration:

• Engagement is temporary for 6 months or until completion of the census project.

Agreement:

Selected candidates must sign a formal agreement on ₹10 stamp paper declaring their temporary role and no claim for permanent government job.

Important Notes:

• No regular job guarantee.
• Work involves rural/urban surveys using mobile app.
• Survey period: April to October 2025
